ERG emerges 2nd place in Engineering’s Got Talent

UP ERG once again ascertained its engineering supremacy when it finished 2nd among 10 organizations last July 23, 2010 in the Engineering’s Got Talent contest. This event, hosted by the Engineering Student Council, was part of a series of activities prepared for the freshmen to welcome them in the college. Talented judges in performing arts were invited to grace the event which was held at the Engineering Theater.
UP ERG was well represented by the DanzERGs who organized a special dance number which chronicles a typical engineering student’s life. Performing dance interpretations from the music of various artists, the DanzERGs proved that not much should be said to convey a message. The team composed of John Allan Mark Delen, Rebecca Galicha, Maria Theresa Cunanan, Jan Darell Hernandez, Marvin Almanzor, Nathaniel Vincent Tuibeo, Yvan Pagsonsolan, Carlos Virgil Molo, Maria Katrina Volante, and Miraquel De Jesus garnered a 91.5% score to secure the second place.
