ERG takes part in UPClose

UP ERG along with several organizations participated in UPClose, the University Student Council’s Freshie Opening Week last July 12-16, 2010. This series of activities were prepared to further welcome the freshmen batch this year.

UPClose brought by a slew or organizations

The week-long event started with an Amazing Race, Rookie Camp and free film showing of UPCAT the Movie. Despite heavy rains, ERG assembled and manned a booth on the second day’s Org Fair at the AS parking lot. ERG gave away free ballpens and bluebooks to the freshies while other joining orgs facilitated games or gave away candies. Thursday’s awaited event is the College Pasiklaban where seven colleges competed.

UP ERG together with UP KEM represented the College of Engineering and collaborated for a dance and sabayang pagbigkas number. The event culminated with a free concert for the freshies at the Bahay ng Alumni.
