1. The event is open to all 2nd and 3rd year high school students.

2. There will be a total of three (3) Saturday sessions, covering the fundamentals of Electric, Electronics, Communications, and Computer Engineering. The tentative schedules of the sessions, all running from 9:00am to 4:00pm are as follows:

  • February 6, 2010 – Basic Circuits
  • February 13, 2010 – Basic Circuits 2: Logic

IMPORTANT! Participants are highly encouraged to attend all seminars.

3. The sessions will have a two-part format: In the morning, students will listen to lectures on the theories and principles behind the given topic. Afterwards, in the afternoon, they will be given practical laboratory exercises and mini-projects that will allow them to utilize what they have learned.

4. There will be a culminating activity on February 27, 2010, where teams will participate in a challenge contest. Students will race against each other, accomplishing tasks that will require them to use the skills that they have learned over the course of the event. P10,000 worth of prizes will be given away to the top placers. Any changes in the format of the culminating activity shall be informed immediately to the participants.

5. Registration is free, and will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis.

With the above activities, Dagitab 6 will provide a room for interactive learning and a venue for creating a light atmosphere whenever it comes to teaching the future engineers of this land the fundamentals of electronics.
